After the speakers finished, we met at Lefty’s Pizza. It was a fun, noisy time at as we caught up on the latest with our friends and waited for the TV news, as two channels, 2 & 6, covered our event. While we were there we also learned that Gov. Bill Richardson (D) had signed New Mexico's medical marijuana legislation into law. That makes 12 states now with medical marijuana laws and a happy “Hip Hip Horray!” filled the room. It was a great ending to a long, information filled day. MAMA thanks those who donated their time or cash to the event. Let’s do it again in a couple years!
